RECOGNITION OF STUDENT INVOLVEMENT

Student involvement in the life at Collège Universel has always been a key component of our establishment’s educational program. Students who get involved in various volunteering activities (at the College or elsewhere) can develop skills that will often be very useful in all aspects of their life. For example, planning, organizing, managing and evaluating a student activity requires skills and an involvement that will give students the opportunity to live an experience that complements the studies they are currently pursuing.

HOW CAN I BE RECOGNIZED FOR MY STUDENT INVOLVEMENT?

Collège Universel has decided to recognize the involvement of students who meet the following requirements:

Get involved for at least 60 hours over the course of one semester or two consecutive semesters;

Be full-time students at Collège Universel;

Comply with College rules in this regard. In other words, successfully complete at least half of the course units to which they are registered;

The activity must be done on a volunteer basis, with no financial or course unit recognition for their service; however, if the involvement extends beyond the time dedicated to a paid or credited activity, they must demonstrate it and can then be recognized by the College.

NUMEROUS SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO COLLÈGE UNIVERSEL STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
