Language Testing Centre

Both the Gatineau and Montreal campuses of Collège Universel are accredited by the Chambre de commerce et d’Industrie de Paris Île-de-France (CCIP) for administering the TEF French proficiency test. We offer services for the TEF, TEFAQ and TEF-Canada.

The TEF is a language exam used for assessing the level of French-second-language comprehension and expression. The test is used for purposes of school admissions and immigration to Quebec, and it is the only proficiency test accepted by the Federal Skilled Worker program. In addition, a version of the TEF with two oral exams (comprehension and expression) is required for obtaining Canadian citizenship.
