COVID-19 NEWSLETTER – MAY 16, 2022

APPLICABLE INSTRUCTIONS

Classes for the Summer 2022 session will begin on May 30, 2022 at the Collège Universel – Gatineau Campus, as scheduled in the school calendar.

In accordance with government guidelines, classes for the summer session will be face-to-face, starting May 30. As the health situation can change at any time, our facilities and the expertise of our teams allow us to quickly deploy a fallback plan should this become necessary.

Sanitary measures

In the current context, we remind you of the great importance of respecting sanitary measures:

  • Do NOT go to campus if you have symptoms of Covid-19. Anyone in this situation should isolate themselves at home by following the instructions of the health authorities and contact their program coordinator to schedule the online training.
  • The college strongly recommends wearing a mask inside the college. Intervention masks are still available at college entrances for people who want or need to wear them..
  • Ensure frequent and rigorous handwashing (handwashing is mandatory on arrival at the College in the stations provided for this purpose, regularly during the day and before leaving).
  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. Use handkerchiefs or bend your elbow, then wash your hands. Preferably use disposable handkerchiefs. Immediately throw away used tissues in the trash. Avoid touching your mouth or eyes with your hands. Wash hands as soon as possible after coughing or sneezing.

Access to services

All administrative services remain open, according to normal working hours. All College employees work safely at the College and continue to be available to you. They can be reached by email, MIO and their College phone numbers. For the safety of the entire community, we strongly suggest that you prioritize meetings on Zoom and Teams when possible.

Extracurricular activities

Extracurricular activities, tournaments and sports competitions are permitted.
