Newsletter COVID-19 23/03/2020

The Quebec government has decided to extend the closure of all educational institutions until May 1st 2020 due to the risks associated with COVID-19.

Despite the closure of the Universel College premises, all education services will continue using online training. As of Monday March 30, classes will resume online at the same time as usual.

The management, teachers and the whole team are currently working very hard to make this online training possible for everyone and thus complete the Winter 2020 session as planned.

You will understand that to be able to perform this training, each student will need to make sure they have access to an internet connection and have a computer with camera or a smartphone. Our survey on technological resources has indeed confirmed that the vast majority of our students have the technological resources required at home to participate in online training.

If you have questions or problems related to your technological resources, please contact Mr. Zakaria Jamai Mouhtadi by email at [email protected] or by phone at 819-773-1882.

By Friday March 27, you will receive all instructions and procedures for starting online training.

Regarding internships, we are developing an action plan allowing you to complete your course. We will contact you shortly on this matter. We thank you for your patience and rest assured that we are making every effort not to hinder the progress of graduating students whose internships are interrupted by the current situation.

For any questions about internships, please contact Ms. Jacynthe Carrière-Lalonde at [email protected] or by phone at 819-503-2407.
